Today is Day 1 of our journey to Kai!

We've done it!!!   879 days after we started this journey, we are finally on our way to our bring home

our son.  We packed our SUV to the point of overload and headed to Ft. Lauderdale.

My heart is filled with bittersweet thoughts.  It was so very difficult leaving AJ behind tonight.

Wow!!  I had no clue I would be so attached after just a few days with him.  But, I know God's 

plan is perfect and I am so desperately wishing that next Monday finally arrive so we can

finally see our little guy's beautiful face.  I think about how he looks, how he smells, what his

personality is like.  Please, continue prayers with us that his transition be an easy one.

As I type this, it is almost midnight.  We will be taking the shuttle from the hotel in Ft. Lauderdale

to the airport at 4:30 a.m.   This is it!!  It's really happening!!

Kai, hold on a few more days sweetie.  Your family is almost there and you will never, ever

again long for anyone to hold you or love you!  The love we have for you will last a lifetime.
